Morse Code and Telegraphy in the Military

Saturday, January 11th
1:00 pm at Locust Grove

Come celebrate “National Write Your Name in Morse Code Day.” There will be an hour-long presentation by West Point’s Captain Travis Salley, M.Mus., M.A. on the history of telegraphy in the military.

This event is free and recommended for ages 12 and up. Donations to Locust Grove are greatly appreciated.

After the presentation, enjoy a tour of the permanent exhibit in the Morse Gallery, and a pop-up exhibit of rarely seen Samuel Morse memorabilia.


Antiques Appraisal Day


Robert Meringolo and his team of merry appraisers return to Locust Grove to tell you how much your treasures are worth! Baseball cards, records, small works of art, jewelry, watches, coins, toys... you bring it, they will appraise it!

9:30 AM Early Bird Special: $50.00 for up to 5 items to be appraised. (10 people only) (SOLD OUT)

10 AM - 4 PM Regular Admission: $35 for up to 5 items to be appraised (timed entry for 15 people every half hour)

($10/each additional item to be appraised will be available at the door)

Locust Grove is not responsible for any loss or damages to your property.  You must remain with your goods at all times.
