Harvest Hunt

A Scavenger Hunt for Decorated Pumpkins! 

 SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS SEPTEMBER 7 - OCTOBER 20 (And Monday, October 14th)

10 AM - 3 PM (Event closes at 4 PM) 

Come find more than 30 decorated pumpkins and whimsical photo ops hidden among the flowers and trees on a Locust Grove scavenger hunt/story walk on the grounds and in the gardens of our historic Mansion! Tour at your own pace, stay all day or just as long as you’d like!

Costumes are encouraged, and many photo ops, bring a picnic, and enjoy under the trees! This entertaining family program features decorated pumpkins telling the story of Locust Grove; the people and animals who lived and worked at the historic estate since its first famous occupant lived here, Samuel B. Morse the inventor of the telegraph! “Drive” a 1913 “Cadillac,” ring the bell on a historic “train,” sit on “Doodles” the sawhorse pony, and more.

This is a rain-or-shine activity.

$10/Person when purchased online for adults and children 4 and over ($15/Person at the door)
Kids under 4 are FREE!

And yes, adults need to purchase tickets, as well, as this is a fabulous fundraiser for Locust Grove!
